Cookie Policy

What we store on your device when you use godeskflow.com or the GoDesk web app, why we store it, and how you can stop us.

Last updated: 2026-05-06
TL;DR

We use a small number of first-party cookies to remember your theme and language. We load Google Analytics only if you click 'Accept' on the cookie banner.

You can clear cookies, refuse them, or change your mind at any time using your browser settings or our consent banner.

01What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, pixel tags, and SDK identifiers in mobile apps. This policy uses 'cookies' as a shorthand for all of these.

Cookies set by godeskflow.com are first-party cookies. Cookies set by third parties whose code we load (Google Analytics, for example) are third-party cookies.

02Categories we use

Cookies on our site fall into the following categories:

Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work, e.g. recording your cookie-consent choice. We rely on the necessary-cookie exemption in the EU ePrivacy Directive — these cookies do not require consent.
Functional
Remember preferences such as theme and language so the site behaves the way you want.
Analytics
Help us understand how the site is used in aggregate. Loaded only if you opt in via the cookie banner.
Marketing
We do not currently set marketing cookies. If that changes, this section will be updated and consent will be required before any are loaded.

05Third-party services

When loaded, the following third parties may set cookies on your device:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd) — usage analytics, only if you opt in.
  • Supabase (Supabase, Inc.) — authentication session cookie when you log into the web app.
  • Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) — anti-bot and DDoS-mitigation cookies on a small number of pages, classified as strictly necessary.

Each provider operates under its own privacy policy. Links and details are in the Privacy Policy.

06How to control cookies in your browser

All major browsers let you block, delete, or be warned before accepting cookies. Quick links:

  • Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari — Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies.

Disabling all cookies will break some site features (sign-in, language preference). Disabling only third-party cookies is usually safe.

07'Do Not Track' and Global Privacy Control

We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal sent by some browsers and treat it as a request to opt out of optional analytics for the duration of your visit. Browser-level 'Do Not Track' is not a recognised standard, but you can replicate the effect by declining the cookie banner.

08Changes to this policy

We update this policy when we add, remove, or change a cookie. The 'Last updated' date at the top of the page reflects the most recent material change.
