CLI installer

04 / PACKAGES

.deb package

Native .deb for Debian-based distributions (Debian 11+, Ubuntu 22.04+, Mint 21+). Install with apt and receive updates when you re-download the latest .deb. Auto-update via signed APT repo is roadmapped.

05 / ROADMAP

.AppImage and .rpm planned

Universal .AppImage (anything glibc 2.31+) and .rpm (Fedora/RHEL/openSUSE) are on the roadmap. Join the waitlist on the download page if you need a non-Debian package.

06 / SYSTEMD

Systemd service integration

Run GoDeskFlow as a systemd service for unattended access. The .deb registers a `godesk.service` unit that starts on boot.

QUICK INSTALL

Install the .deb

sudo dpkg -i godesk_0.13.18_amd64.deb && sudo apt-get install -f

Download the .deb from the downloads page, then run the command above. We don't yet host a curl-pipe-sh installer — that's coming with the signed APT repo.
